I had a delightful stay at the hotel despite some minor issues. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I was disturbed by a noisy neighbor's snoring at 2 am. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff going out of their way to assist. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, though my room faced a wall and cars, making it dark. The dining experience was delicious with a good variety of choices. Overall, a mixed but satisfactory experience.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay, but the darkness and lack of quiet were drawbacks. The service was indeed friendly and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere, yet the value for money could be improved. The location was ideal for exploring Dunbar, close to the main attractions, but not entirely peaceful due to proximity to the main street. The dining was top-notch, especially the delicious eggs benedict, making it a highlight. Facilities were adequate, but there is room for enhancement.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, ideal for exploring the nearby attractions and enjoying the nearby beach. However, the room in the basement was dark, small, and noisy, giving a tired impression. On the positive side, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making our meal and breakfast experience delightful. The dining options were good overall, but availability could be improved. The hotel setting in Dunbar offers a welcoming atmosphere for those looking to relax near the sea.

The hotel is a great starting point for exploring the borders and Edinburgh, with proximity to Tantallan Castle, Dirleton Castle, and Rosslyn Chapel. The lovely unspoilt rocky beach within walking distance adds to its charm.
